We are looking for a detail-oriented PR star with who thinks like a journalist to find the news in any opportunity and can turn three key messages into 10 stories ideas without breaking a sweat. Versatile writing skills are paramount as this candidate can take a single piece of content and mold it into a variety of formats including a media alert, news release, blog post, guest column, talking points and social media content.
The ideal candidate will have experience pitching local and national media, and possess a stellar track record of social media management. The PR pro can anticipate what’s needed next to add value to a project without waiting to be told. A make-it-happen attitude is necessary to pull off creative and effective media events and an attention to detail keeps all of the time-sensitive specifics on track. Former journalists and those with PR agency experience are encouraged to apply.
A desire to be part of a team is a must, as you will work with fellow account team members and client contacts daily.

A four-year degree in journalism, public relations or a related field gets you in the door. A minimum of 3 years of experience is preferred; an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
