Account Manager

An account manager is the go-to person – the strategist of campaigns and the holder of all information. Being an account manager at SKAR isn’t for people who just want to do what they’re told – it’s for people who want to take a leadership role in creating great work and even better relationships. You’ll collaborate with staffers in our account, media, production, digital and creative departments on work for big brands and great people. Be ready to handle everything from developing TV and radio commercials to digital campaigns and social media promotions. While being comfortable managing multiple projects is a must, having a natural ability to solve complex problems will put you over the top.

What EXACTLY will you do? For starters, you’ll …

• Be the main point-of-contact for assigned accounts, handling all day-to-day communication and client presentation responsibilities
• Manage advertising and marketing projects, including estimates, creative briefs, creative and media team coordination, delivery and deadlines
• Work with account, media, digital, creative and production teams on a variety of day-to-day client needs
• Work collaboratively with agency and client teams and serve as the liaison between them

• Ensure that marketing strategies are executed in every deliverable in order to achieve clients’ business goals
• Provide strategic and creative recommendations to clients and foster partner relationships

• Set and manage client expectations, communicate them to agency teams as needed (including digital, creative, copywriting, production and media)

• Keep internal team up to date on account activities with regular meetings and communication
• Deliver reports to client on any and all campaigns on an established and regular basis
• Work closely with the vice president of client services to provide strategic direction, client recommendations and regular updates on client activity
• Work closely with the vice president of business development to provide assistance on new business opportunities, research, pitching support and account transition

• Two-plus years of experience in advertising or marketing
• A four-year college degree
• A love for marketing and advertising
